Press Play

Terms

Last updated 2 September 2026

The rules for using Press Play Rankings. Using the site means agreeing to them.

Your account

You need to be at least 13. One person, one account, and you are responsible for what happens under it, so keep the password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it.

You can delete your account whenever you like. We can close an account that is being used to harass people, to break the law, or to attack the service, and we will say why unless saying why would make things worse.

What you make

Your ratings and your slides are yours. Nothing here claims ownership of them. By publishing a rating you allow this site to show it: on your public page, in the social feed, and in the ordinary places a public page is found, such as a search engine or a link preview. Unpublish it and that stops.

Exported slides are yours to post anywhere you like, including commercially. On the free tier the Press Play mark stays on them; on a paid tier it does not.

What you upload

You are responsible for having the right to upload a picture. Do not upload anything illegal, anything that is not yours to use, or anything that would be indecent on a public page. Anything that breaks this can be removed without notice.

Album artwork and catalogue data

Covers, track listings and previews come from third parties, chiefly Deezer, and belong to their owners. They appear here to identify records being reviewed. If you own artwork that appears here and want it removed, write to medicalbruh@gmail.com and it will be taken down.

How to behave

Comments and public reviews are held to one standard: argue with the rating, not the person.

Anything here can be removed, and a repeated offender loses their account.

Tiers and payment

Payments are not switched on. The tiers decide what an account may do and the limits are enforced, but there is nothing to take money with, nobody is being charged, and no card details are collected anywhere on this site. When billing is switched on these terms will say how it works, what a refund looks like, and how to cancel, before anyone is asked to pay.

Prices shown today are what is planned, not a contract, and can change before launch.

What this service promises

It is provided as it is. It is a small service run by one person: it can go down, lose a feature, or change. Keep your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose. Nothing here is a guarantee that the service will be available, or that the catalogue is accurate.

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to whatever you have actually paid, which today is nothing. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top changes with them, and a change that affects what you are allowed to do, or what you pay, is announced in the app before it takes effect.
